Microsoft can make media projects without bankrolling 3000 people. Plenty of companies exist already to fulfill that very purpose and will cost less to hire. Imagine paying 3000 people let’s say 50k a year. Now we know people were making more than that and less in some cases but that’s $150,000,000 a year in just payroll on the low end, it was probably double that number and that doesn’t include budget for actual projects.

It was a MASSIVE waste of money and that’s money that can now go into gaming. They can still make movies and shows but they can now do it for significantly cheaper.
