This statement in your article stood out.

"Now if this were PSN, we'd expect regular outages, but that's because PSN has always lagged behind Xbox Live in terms of stability"

Where did you pull that statement from? Your @ss? Nice damage control for your hypocrisy and double standards, Pramath. What does PSN have to do with the topic of your article or the fact that Xbox Live has had much more confirmed outages than PSN the past year?

"Xbox Live has been seeing a lot of problems as of late, with frequent outages and downtimes that are frankly entirely uncharacteristic of the service."

These Xbox Live outages aren't something new or suprising, Pramath. Xbox Live has been having many outages through 2015, more confirmed outages than PSN during the last five months of 2015, and much more confirmed outages than PSN so far this year than you're letting on to. People would know this if you actually reported them. When was the last time PSN had nearly 8 consecutive days of confirmed outages with some outages lasting up to 6 hours, like Xbox Live just had?

A couple months ago I told you I would keep track of all the PSN and Xbox Live outages that are confirmed by SIE or Microsoft through out the year of 2016 to make sure you report each one to expose the lies, double standards, and hypocrisy of you frauds in the media who continue to fabricate your claims. Xbox Live has had much more confirmed outages than PSN so far for 2016 and just as I predicted, you failed to report each one. Xbox Live just had another outage on the 8th when you posted this article and again you failed to report it. When PSN has an outage, you slam them and demand compensation. When Xbox Live has an outage you stay hush hush until the outages are frequent enough that you can no longer ignore it.

So even when Microsoft has been charging you to play online for the past 14 years while SIE has only been charging for about 3 years, and Xbox Live has had more confirmed outages than PSN this year, you continue to lie and misinform your readers.

It's also interesting how you stated PSN has lagged behind Xbox Live in terms of "stability".

PSN and Xbox Live outages could be caused by external factors that are necessarily under SIE or Microsoft's control, nor do outages necessarily reflect stability. Save your bs Pramath and enjoy that crow.

Its highly probable that recent downtime is the result of Microsoft rolling up feature updates ahead of e3 and they were ironing out the kinks ahead of said features being turned on locally in users Xbox one's.

Considering since the beta is 2001 xbl has had what amounts to an uptime of 99% (yes its true, do the math yourselves if you dont want to believe me) this recent series of downtime is a major anomaly and when such events occur there is always a reason and changes/upgrades are the number 1 cause of network downtime in all of STEM. Im hoping one of those features is cloud compute for crackdown. I expect to see playable realtime demos at e3 and while we do already have server side ai through xbl which is also cloud compute what they are doing with crackdown is significantly different
