Wow…the software running the Xbox is what’s next gen and will also attract new customers. Dumb fanboy crap is what you are spewing. Play games not consoles. Omg Omg its no as powerful! So what? The ps2 wasn’t as powerful as the GameCube or Xbox yet it was awesome. The Dreamcast was less powerful than ps2 yet it had some of the best games of all time and arguably the greatest overall library of any console ever made

While Sony deserves great respect for the ps4 they took zero risk. They played and safe and just delievered a more powerful ps3. Nothing wrong with that at all. Microsoft on the other hand did take risks. They changed the system they evolved it and tried new ideas and yes the Xbox one more than the ps4 is a next gen system. Granted and sadly the Xbox is less powerful than ps4 but generational leaps aren’t just about power they are about changing the experience and driving things forward with new concepts and ideas.

There is room for both consoles in anyone’s living room and anyone who doesn’t own both eventually isn’t really a gamer regardless of what they say. A true gamer goes all out and buys EVERYTHING regardless of specs. The only time they don’t is when its obviously trash like say the ngage or cdi.

All this crap about power…the Dreamcast was very weak yet it has the best overall library of games.

Bullsh1t, they claim they wanted to make something for the hardcore and new customers. Yet they didnt even make the system as powerful as the PS4 (better for the hardcore) and all they did to attract “new customers” was throw in a HDMI in, whoopdifvckingdoo!
