Less power? Is this why the XB1 has a much larger box and a huge power brick lol? Why would me as a gamer care about the power being used to play my game when the savings wasnt used to beef up what could be done with the hardware? Im sure there is some truth here buts its basically a defense because MS chose to go with a watered down version of the truly integrated architecture that is the PS4. Sony did a complete job and MS cheaped out. I do wish the consoles went with a bit more raw power to hit 60fps more consistently, but hey. Im still hoping Sony does a clock speed boost on the CPU and GPU at some point after managing the power consumption better through some firmwire updates but maybe not bc they are already selling so well compared to the competition.

Really didn't Microsoft take the loss for going before Sony before launch of these new system's and Ms announced DRM then Sony pulled out? Microsoft always 1st at E3!!

It's not a weaker system and developers are getting lazy which is bad for both system's!! If they use Esram when tools come out for Xbox One (P.I.X) this will be a different story. Microsoft went for a balanced architecture not just crammed a bunch of hard ware into a box and said but it's easier to develop for!! Microsoft went in the best direction when you get games that are cpu bound to feed the gpu meaning higher frame rate and better game play and balanced the gddr3 and esram together they have higher bandwidth than ps4 and esram can hold 6gb of textures give faster read and write options!! So gimped I think not and what games show Xbox One are gimped? Most are up-scaled to 1080p and meet on par with ps4 games native that are multi-plat and a couple perform better (ac4,) (dying light) And most developer's you say are saying Sony easier to make games for are Sony developers or are being paid to say this!! Sony should save there money there going to need it to pay the bills!!

Factual PS4 Hardware Advantages: +6 CUs, +560 GFlops (44% greater), +16 ROPs, +6 ACEs/CQs, better GPGPU support, better performing CPU, and faster unified memory. PS4 OS may also have less overhead or reserves.

Both Sony and MS have world class coders that will extract every bit of performance out of their consoles with their drivers/APIs/SDKs. The difference is PS4 simply has more powerful hardware to work with, so it will always stay ahead in graphics performance.

PS4 will have better performing games for the entire generation as it has more powerful hardware, you can't overcome a hardware gap with better drivers/SDKs.

Infamous is technically superior in every way. 1080p, 35 fps average (according to DF), open world, next gen visual effects, cutscenes are mostly realtime, etc.

If you think a 900p, 20 fps average, QTE corridor brawler with copypasted barbarian enemies and CG movie cutscenes "looks better", that's your dumb and delusional opinion.

It's still a fact PS4's hardware is superior and its games are technically more advanced as a result.a
