Unfortunately what you said makes little sense when you consider how thermodynamics work. It couldn’t have cooled that quickly half an inch from the heat source. Even if it were true whatever melted would have caused SYSTEM FAILURE. His console still works.

There isn’t a lot to maintain other than cleaning it once in a while actually unless you want to build a fully custom water cooled gaming PC. I honestly find this kinda hard to believe, the Xbox One and the PS4 are essentially PC’s and I’ve been building those since 1997 and I’ve never seen a capacitor leak unless it was a faulty one to begin with. There is too many morons around these days that would definitely enjoy spilling stuff on their consoles just to take some pictures of it to fool people into making them think it’s actually leaking. No offense to the people that brought this up though, if it’s legit then it definitely is a problem.

Thats not true…..if its over heated gas……hot air raises right? Well as hot air condenses what happens? What ever the gas, condenses back to a liquid Theres your defying of gravity and leaking up not saying thats what happened here but as a pipe welder i can give a thousand examples of a leaked substance being found above the leak
