So I think Microsoft is going to introduce a newer version of the Kinect for the Scorpio. It will be smaller with better resolution (4k) and it may be wireless with Bluetooth. Recorder video was what the Kinect did best.

Those are both good enough reasons. Why complain? If you don’t like what you’re reading, you could either move on, or pluck thine eyes out. You’re not obligated to defend MS in these comment sections, but the article’s author still has the right to report about what is happening in the gaming industry, and question Microsoft’s intentions.

MS really did not need to say anything to the haters. The goal was to make the console as small as possible, whatever reason, MS, deemed for removing it, who cares, they offer a free adapter, so what is the problem? I love my kinect and use it for everything, but they offer an adapter so why is this even a story, other than to question or bash MS.

That doesn’t make sense… It’s not like the Xbox One slim is so tiny that they just had to drop a single port from it. It’s still roughly the size of a DVD player – more than roomy enough to have the port.
