But seriously. Scorpio does not need to be expensive. In 14 months its tech will not exactly be bleeding edge stuff. Just look at how much a three year old GPU costs now, then add a cheap serviceable custom CPU that does the job, bare minimal RAM…
I mean to put the 6TFs into context GPU tech will probably be 12+ TF (and that’s being conservative) when this thing comes out.
It’s actually a pretty normal amount of power for a console in relation to the technology that will be available at the time.

So it just like when XB1 and PS4 came out it depends on how much they are prepared to overcharge you for it!

$400-$500 is the price that it’s worth. If it is over $500 it will not sell well at all.

The mainstream Xbox One S will be look under powered compared to the Ps4 pro which will be well established for over year and will be ready for a $50 price drop.
