You can’t get rid of PC’s. Microsoft may drop support for the PC as we know it(desktop computing), but all the PC gamers will move over to Linux. Linux isn’t going to stop making OS’s that you can actually own. Granted, PC gaming will become a niche thing, but still always an option. There’s also Steam OS, which I’m sure will always support both, streaming and personal computing.

Microsoft and Sony might be one of those Corporations that say, “it’s my way or the highway…this is how it is,” but there are still those who exercise and recognize morality and personal privacy.

I’m surprised Zuckerberg doesn’t have a privacy invading “social” OS, at this point. He’s all about being at the center of everyone’s affairs, pulling down their pants and delivering the shaft.

In 10-15 years we will all be streaming no more consoles or PCs.
