I am sure it will be a bump up, and hopefully they will go with the Ryzen CPUs next gen, but i dont see it being a very big jump, mainly because they have to keep the price at a decent range for most people to buy..

It is a useful comparison, because its a fact. The CPU of the consoles holds it back from reaching its true potential, and is far behind most PCs.

Not really, there are tons of games that are CPU focused, especially the open worlds. Artificial limitations doesn’t help it reach Ultra settings (it lowers it really), and the framerate stays at 30fps in most games like that. Either way compromises are made because of the CPU. Not taking away from the fact that it still is the most powerful console, just pointing out facts.

Second, if I wanted the PC experience I would game on PC. I want big screen, big sound, comfort, no hassle entertainment with friends and family local/online or alone. That isnt the PC experience at all. You can try to say that a PC can provide that experience, of which my reply is that youre an idiot that should have bought a console because that experience is exactly what a console is built for, and a PC isnt.

Then they’re not PC gamers then, or if they were they’d be looking at upgrading their rigs or adjusting specs on their existing machine.
