Sony is just fine with the PS4 Pro and doesn’t need to respond with another console when the PS4 Pro is only a year old and is running the same games as the X with no problem. I don’t see any desperation coming from Sony and hope they release a PS5 around 2020 or 2021.

I don’t know what you are talking about Mr Xrat, are you talking about the Fact that the Xbox outsold the PS4 in December ? as did the Switch .

MS’s poured a lotta resources to “connect” all their products under the new CEO, I’d say they are on the right track.

xb1 in 2013, xb1x in 2017 and xb1-next in 2021. New xbox will prob be released every 3-4 years.
Devs will support every box for like 5-7 years, then you can carry your game-lib, saves and peripherals over to the next box.

Fell free to throw it away if you don’t want to keep the old box (for saving space?) But if you choose to keep it… newer xboxes can still do multiplayer with your older xboxes, you can use it for LAN-party as well.
