"They could always lock the TVs to like 42fps and stuff". This is my train of thought. I'm thinking Microsoft will allow devs to support non traditional frame rates on console. Even if I can get 45fps on CyberPunk 2077, it'll be better than 30fps RPGs...

No it doesn't, you won't see them till next year really. It's not even a probably not when you can look at the specs. It's to early for them to support HDMI 2.1 anyway.

Thing is if they keep locking the games to 30fps for instance it'll be useless anyway. You need high refresh rate TVs to. They could always lock the TVs to like 42fps and stuff like that i suppose to give them more flexibility

DOES IT HAVE FREESYNC 2.0?! Prolly not man. Can't lie I really want TV suppliers to adopt this. Having that variable refresh rate if games support it would be sick! I'ma buy a nice 4K set this fall for Scorpio, but I feel like newer 2018 tvs will have FreeSync and I'll miss out

ah yes i forgot you can make a game click on add explicit multiadaptor and boom its done. Fair play laugh all you want but youll be laughing on the other side of your face when in 5 years nobody is using it. Oxide built it in Ashes and they said its extremely hard to do and the most important thing it will take alot of work whether you think its super easy or not and it comes down to is the performance gain going to be worth the time implementing it

Again you're trying paint a certain picture here. I'm not sure what "humongous coding task of implementing" the feature. Lol you're trying to say the feature is so hard to implement no one is going to use it. Developers build their games around game engines and once those engines support a feature then their games can also support that feature.

Most major game engines are building in Explicit multi-adapter support or are already supporting the feature. Unreal Engine 4 already support it, Luminous engine by Square Enix already it, cryengine already supports it, Havok Vision supports it, Unity3D etc.
So you being surprised or not doesn't change facts in the real world.

For developers the advantage is that their games run better. For consumers is that it's a better way to use more than one gpu. A part of the beauty of EMA is that it doesn't have to be from different manufacturers, it could also be from different generations of Cards like using a GTX 1080 + 980. A consumer doesn't need to stop using their current card when upgrade they can use it along with the new card they buy. So I might currently have an r480 but in the future decide to also buy gtx1080 and can use both on the games that uses engines that support the feature.

Again microsoft are the ones pushing the boundaries and innovating

nah im not haha got a crappy job, well its good for a crappy job hahah but if you want something just have to work for it.

I noticed on those QLEDs they got support for HLG/HDR10+ so its probably someat do with even better colours/wider colour range as there supposed to support 100% of DCI-P3 cinema standard.

Would of only used it as a cost saving measure though, could do with saving about £7000 within 20 months because I want go somewhere and pay something off.

But knowing me id buy a Scorpio then go spend £2000-2500 on one of them new Samsung QLEDs so probably wouldn't actually of saved anything haha

Ok let's say devs decide to do the humongous coding task of implementing it (which would be surprising seeing as they can barely be bothered do it for dx11 where its infinitely easier to do) what would be the advantage of having an AMD + NVidia gpu in a system?? Not including gpus on an apu as they would just handle light post processing tasks
