I mentioned 1080p/1440p at 60fps as a SAFE expectation. I honestly don’t see Scorpio doing 4k/60 on ALL games. Why would I? Microsoft never said it would do 4k/60fps on all games. Therefore I’m guessing (a safe bet) that res will drop to 1080 or 1440p when running in 60fps mode. That’s in my estimation. Now Forza would naturally stay 4k/60 cuz it’s engine is built that way, but most games will be 30fps. As for your estimate that res will stay at 4k even in 60fps, with settings dropped, well u don’t know that, but for you that’s ur opinion fine, I don’t share that one. For example, Microsoft may want to keep the 60fps mode at ultra settings, or max even, so they may run at 1080 or 1440 in that mode. You’re assuming they’ll drop settings to med-high, but I don’t share that opinion. Anyway I’m not arguing over that, too time consuming. I’m simply saying I want 2 modes. But u keep harping on this thing about “True 4k”…..they never said Scorpio would do 4k/60fps on all games! Please find me a quote that says that. Until then, my posts have clearly been reasonable, and it seems ur the only one in here nitpicking this 4k thing. I’m not attacking u personally just want u to see how that looks…ur putting words into Phil’s mouth, and then arguing about it, to the point where you’ve combed thru my history, and making a big deal outta what I want with 4k, because ultimately you feel I’m not qualified to talk about it. Now IF what you wanted happens ( 4k / 4k assets / ultra settings / 60fps ) why would you need a 1440p or 1080p version as it wouldn’t be worth it☺ ( see the confusion.. I’ll explain below )

IF a game runs at 4k with 4k assets at ultra settings at 30fps than MS still wouldn’t need to drop from 4K to 1440p or 1080p as all what needs too take place is the ultra settings turned down to Med-High settings to reach the 60fps ( IF that game can be played on both 30fps and 60fps ) so no need for 1080p options hence why MS stated Scorpio is a *TRUE 4K Gaming* console.

Why do I have to state that I want “the same options the Pro offers”? I clearly said I want 4k res, 4k assets, and ultra settings (that the Pro won’t offer on even half its games), and IN ADDITION, I want a 1080p or 1440p/60fps mode….it’s like ur the only one in here nitpicking, going thru my history and tryin to find contradictions with respect to this whole Scorpio/True 4k thing, I see u have issue with that. I’m not over complicating things but if you wanted the same option like PS4-Pro offers gamers why not just state that then.
