Wow….so here is what I am seeing between what the Scorpio will offer me vs the PS4 “pro”…..
Native 4k vs 720p and an upscaling gimmick
Back compat vs no back compat
Game downloading service vs PSnow streaming robbery
1080p TV supersampling and shader upgrade vs nothing
4k blu ray vs nothing
Coop and multiplayer gems vs 3rd person single player hack n slash bores.
Sony really needs to step up their game. More Single player 3rd person single player hack n slash games with no replay value, some as low as 720p just ain’t gonna cut it.

I just don’t think it is fair to compare the XB1 S to what is suppossed to be a sizable leap in technology. It just makes more sense to compare the ‘S’ model of one company to the ‘S’ model of another. Right now, well the Pro doesn’t have any competitors in the console market. Once the Scorpio comes it’ll fill that market gap.

I appreciate you not being an utter dumb*** here. Some people in these threads go all out but it’s nice to have a somewhat intelligent discussion with someone

In reply to Rikarudo. i think scorpio will be $500-550. but then you cant cry about the price being to much then. if your willing to compare say the X1 S to the pro with its +$100 launch price and zero power upgrade on the S, then you can compare the scorpio to the Pro. Even though you wont like to do that. Fact is currently you cant compare the pro to anything. It stands on its own. Its only fanboys that compare the Pro to One S to make themselves feel better about themselves.

Yeah I see that you’re looking at it all miss matched. You’re trying to say a 6% upclock on the same GPU as its base (done to support HDR feature on newer TVs) is in comparison with a GPU that has a new architecture and is 2x more powerful than its base.

Base to base
Slim to slim
New to New.

and then, non released console to a released console with upgrade.
