Xenoblade Chronicles 2 already has almost 50 Rare Blades for players to obtain, through a game of RNG governed gatcha mechanics. But we’ve already known more will be coming to the game, though anything more specific beyond that has, until now, been unknown. Now, at last, we know when to expect new Rare Blades to be added to the game.
Installing the new update for the game (1.3.1) also adds a notification that makes it clear that Expansion Pass players can expect new Rare Blades to begun to be added to the game starting Early May. That’s a little over a month from now—so where you’ve already waited this long, what’s a few weeks more, am I right?
Until then, it’s not like there’s any shortage of content in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, especially after how meaty the last two updates have been. Xenoblade 2 launched last year, on December 1, and was available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
