Xenoblade Chronicles 2 New Video Showcases 50 Minutes Of Gameplay

The game seems to be coming along well.

One of the biggest games coming up for Switch in a year when it has had a non stop barrage of big games is Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Monolith Soft’s new massive open world JRPG that follows in the footsteps of the original Xenoblade on the Wii, rather than Xenoblade X on the Wii U.

With the game due out this year – it is allegedly due to launch in the Holiday season this year, though we don’t actually have a finalized release date yet – Nintendo and Monolith Soft have started pushing out more footage for the title. This newest video for the game, for example, shows us 50 minutes of gameplay- which should be enough for anyone to get a good idea of what to expect from the title (even though these games are massive and long).

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is going to be an all new, entirely fresh story that shares themes with the original Xenoblade. It launches on the Switch exclusively later this year.
