Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life Now Launching Mid-April

Luckily, a demo is coming at the end of the month to tide us over.

Unfortunately western fans will have to wait just a little bit longer for the chance to play Sega’s action-RPG crime title, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, at least in its entirety. The game was originally supposed to release in March, but now with the delay to April 17th, this gives Sega a chance to offer a demo.

The delay was announced via the Yakuza Twitter, with the full statement being just below this story. The post outlines how they made the decision to move Yakuza 6 back one month, and how the extra time to get the launch ready allows them to offer a demo of the game on February 27th. The extent of the demo was not outlined, but progress can be carried to the full game upon release.

The post does further tease more plans for the Yakuza series over the coming weeks and asks fans to stay tuned. As for what those surprises could be, both Yakuza Kiwami 2 and the Fist of the North Star spin off have yet to see official confirmations of western release.
