If you have an account on GOG, now’s the time to use it (although of course, you should be using it all the time anyway, since it orders so many amazing games at cheap prices with no DRM)- for period of 48 hours, GOG is offering the 2000 video game based on the crossover of the two popular franchises, Aliens vs Predator, for free. As long as you have an account, you’re good to go.
What’s the catch, you ask? Well, this is GOG, so really, there isn’t one. GOG is doing this as part of the beta testing phase for its upcoming desktop client for its service, GOG Galaxy (although you don’t need the client or anything to do with it, to redeem this game). As with all games on GOG, this game has been updated for modern drivers and PCs, and will even run with Xbox 360 controllers, so that is great.
