diablo 2 + lod is the most addictive game I’ve EVER played. I played diablo 1 when it came out and played that online for about 2years then when I got into diablo 2 with lod late 2003… dude I’m still playing that game, as a matter of fact I have a bot running in the background as I type this. If that’s not addictive then I don’t know what addictive is.

As soon as I saw AC2 on the list..I then realized that this list is crap..that game bored me to death..no seriously..that game was just soo frustrating for me..plus I can’t believe how overrated this game was..eww.

All console rubbish. i’m not saying there aren’t a few addictive games in there, but its clearly been written by someone in their early twenties, or by someone who’s not a gaming fan. Ignoring the heyday of videogaming by not including any amiga or pc dos games. Lemmings, sim city, eye of the beholder 2, dune 2, any pc baldurs gate etc. there are dozens more which caused me to hand in late courseworks and to fail exams.

I find it interesting that you include “commercial appeal” when suggesting NHL should be on the list over FIFA. FIFA 11 has sold over 7 million copies worldwide. NHL 11 has sold a mere 900,000 or so. That’s right, over seven times the amount of the NHL series (these numbers include both PS3 and 360 for both games).

Wii sports is hardly “addictive.” In fact, it’s about the opposite of the word addictive. The fun lasts about a handful of sessions before you realize there is no replay value to the game. Of all the quality Wii games, Wii sports is about the least addictive.

Lastly, how do you justify bashing his opinion, only to counter his selections with an opinion of your own? I agree with
Hyper, you do sound pompous.
