Advance Wars fans were treated to a surprise announcement of Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp last year, but though the two remakes of the beloved Game Boy Advance strategy titles were originally supposed to launch for the Switch in December, Nintendo ended up delaying them to Spring 2022.
During their recent Nintendo Direct presentation, the company confirmed a new release date for the duology of remakes. As was leaked recently, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp will be launching in April. On top of the overhauled visuals, the remake will also include new features such as fast forward and reset turn options, new modes, local and online multiplayer, map creation and sharing features, and more. Check out the full new trailer below.
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp will launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on April 8. Check out roughly half an hour of gameplay footage from when the game was first unveiled last June through here.
