The long-awaited and delayed strategy remakes finally release on Nintendo Switch this April, with pre-orders opening later today.

After a long absence and significant delays, WayForward’s Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is finally releasing on April 21st for Nintendo Switch. As a remake of the first two Advance Wars titles, it features heavily revamped visuals. Check out the latest trailer below.

Each title supports Versus Mode with support for up to four players to battle each other (or team up in co-op). Both local and online play are supported. The Map Creator is also available, allowing players to create custom maps. New quality-of-life features include speeding up battles, skipping animations, and much more.

Pre-orders are now live for the turn-based strategy remake. The gameplay involves commanding Andy, Max, Sami and more characters, building units, capturing bases, and much more to defeat enemies. Each character has a different specialization and can also unleash CO Powers, which can turn the tide. For more extensive gameplay, head here. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
