It’s been over one year since Atlus initially announced Persona 5, the fifth entry in their flagship Persona franchise, and the first numbered sequel to what is widely considered to be one of the greatest game of all time in seven years now, but so far, we’ve seen almost literally nothing of the game. We know it is coming some time this year, and we’ve seen a couple of trailers, but that’s it.
Well, Atlus promised us more news this year, and it looks like they are delivering on that promise. Alongside the Persona Super Live 2015 concert that was already announced (where Persona 5’s music was widely expected to make its debut), Atlus have also announced a 36 hour long stream for Persona, that will begin February 4, and will then proceed to go on for a while, also overlapping with the Persona concert. It is unclear right now whether the concert itself will be streamed as part of this as well.
Persona 5 news is a lock for this stream- the game is just months away from its expected Summer release, and we should probably learn some more about Persona 4: Dancing All Night as well. In addition, Atlus has promised that they will try to win new fans over with this stream as well, which means we can probably expect more information on Persona 3 and 4, and if we are (un)lucky, another adaptation or re-release of one of them- please let it be Persona 3 Velvet.
