It’s a PC gaming show, so of course we were going to get a look at some brand new cutting edge technology. And that is exactly what happened, as AMD’s CEO took the stage and unveiled AMD Quantum, a small, compact, and beautiful looking computer with some extremely impressive specs- powerful enough to deliver the full experience of virtual reality to you, for instance, as AMD pointed out.
The Quantum supercomputer (not an actual quantum supercomputer, obviously) features the power of 16 TERAFLOPS and 4K support- and as far as pre built PCs go, this is probably one of the best, if not outright the best, option available. For people who want to jump in to PC gaming, but don’t want to muck around with building a PC for themselves, the Quantum may be the way to go. No price has been announced yet, nor a release date, but it’s AMD, so we can probably expect it to be reasonable.
