At this point, there’s probably at least one Assassin’s Creed game released every month. For example, today is the launch of Assassin’s Creed: Memories for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. Assassin’s Creed: Memories is an all-new free-to-play mobile title that blends card battle, RPG, and strategy elements, taking players deeper into Abstergo Entertainment’s new mobile Animus and allowing them to become one of history’s most powerful assassins.
Assassin’s Creed: Memories allows players to relive time periods from history that have already been featured in previous games in the franchise, such as Renaissance Italy and Colonial America, as well as all new periods such as Feudal Japan. Yes, the much requested fan favorite period of Feudal Japan has been wasted on an inconsequential mobile game. That’s Ubisoft for you.
The next few Assassin’s Creed games lined up for launch are Assassin’s Creed: Unity, launching on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in October, and Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, launching on PS3 and Xbox 360 in November. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
