Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is a remastered collection of the three games (Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations) starring arguably the most charismatic assassin in the franchise’s history. Interestingly, a recent post on Twitter by a rather credible source has revealed that the trilogy might be on its way to Nintendo’s hybrid system.
According to Direct Feed Games, the trilogy of Assassin’s Creed games will “soon” be coming to Nintendo Switch. While the post doesn’t go into detail about the source or it’s legitimacy, it seems that Direct Feed Games is pretty confident about the fact, adding in a later tweet that “Ezio is 100% coming to the Switch”. Of course, it’s always advisable to exercise caution with any and all unconfirmed rumours.
Due to the fact that the Nintendo Switch has 90 million+ install base, many big-name publishers have tried to re-release their games with a fresh coat of paint in hopes of catching a piece of that pie. Bethesda released Skyrim, Rockstar released Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, to name just a couple, so it wouldn’t be too hard to believe that Ubisoft might be looking to pull a similar move. After all, they have already done something similar in the past with Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection, which brought Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue to the Switch.
