Now this one is an oddity. Ubisoft unveiled Assassin’s Creed VR Experience at AMD’s GDC 2016 Press Conference and it’s being developed in partnership with Fox and Practical Magic. The “experience” will be out VR headsets this year alone so there goes that statement of no Assassin’s Creed for 2016.
Then again, this isn’t a game per say. The VR Experience is based on the upcoming Assassin’s Creed film, starring Michael Fassbender, and was actually filmed alongside the upcoming movie. Though the film did look interesting enough from the stills, we’re not sure how it would play out as a VR experience. We’ll have to wait and see how this pans out.
What are your thoughts on Assassin’s Creed VR Experience? It’ll likely be releasing for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive (which are both due in the coming weeks) but will it head to PlayStation VR as well? Let us know what you think in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates from GDC 2016.
