Steam has unveiled the winners of its annual fan-voted awards. Headlining the categories is the Game of the Year award, which predictably went to Baldur’s Gate 3. The RPG was up against Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC 24, Resident Evil 4, and Lethal Company. Baldur’s Gate 3 also managed to walk away with the Outstanding Story-Rich Game award, where it was in competition with Lies of P, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Resident Evil 4, and Love Is All Around.

Other winners include Labyrinthine for the VR Game of the Year award, Red Dead Redemption 2 for the Labor of Love award, Hogwarts Legacy for the Best Game on Steam Deck award, Lethal Company for the Better With Friends award, Atomic Heart for the Outstanding Visual Style award, Starfield for the Most Innovative Gameplay award, Sifu for the Best Game You Suck At award, The Last of Us Part 1 for the Best Soundtrack award, and Dave the Diver for the Sit Back and Relax award.

Steam holds these awards on a yearly basis, having the voting coincide with its Winter Sale. The Steam Winter Sale 2023 is still going on, and games are available at discounted prices until January 4.
