Batman: Arkham Origins Appearing at E3 2013?

Rumoured third Batman Arkham game will be arriving on next gen consoles.

An interesting rumour going around, as reported by Gameblog.fr, is that we’ll be seeing the next edition of the Batman Arkham series at E3 2013. To be called “Batman: Arkham Origins”, the story will apparently be set in the 50s or 60s during the nostalgia years that also sees several members of the Justice League also make an appearance.

And of course, the game will be arriving on the Xbox 720 and PS4 – though a current gen release isn’t being ruled out. For now, this can be treated as nothing but a rumour because, well, industry sources and such. However, given how Arkham City ended, it wouldn’t be absurd to see Warner Bros Interactive take a prequel approach with the third game.

Though we can indeed confirm that a new Batman Arkham game is in development, word is still tight-lipped on what it’ll be about. Warners Bros has at least clarified that we will seeing it some time this year.
