One of the most fondly remembered game modes from Battlefield 2142 is Titan Mode. Now, possibly in an effort to generate some goodwill after the disastrous Battlefield 4 launch squandered all of it, DICE is bringing it back as the newly dubbed Carrier Assault mode, which will be added to the game with the upcoming Naval Strike DLC.
In addition to this new mode, Naval Strike will also be adding four new maps, as well as a newfound focus on water based maps. These maps are all, obviously, set in the Southern China sea.
There will also be five new weapons, ten new assignments, and a new amphibious vehicle.
Naval Strike will be launching for Battlefield 4 later this year. As always, if you are a Battlefield Premium subscriber, you can expect to get it earlier than everyone else by a couple of weeks.
