Battlefield Manager Leaves EA to Work on Call of Duty

The Ghosts see another join their cause.

Score one for Activision in the war against Battlefield? It’s recently been revealed that Electronic Arts senior product manager Kevin Flynn has recently left the company to join Activision and become the UK senior brand manager for Call of Duty. The next game in the franchise will be Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Ghosts, launching on November 5th.

The change was seen on Flynn’s Linkedin profile, which also indicated his role in the product launches for several titles such as Battlefield 3, Dead Space 2, Need for Speed: Shift and much more over a period of 5 years.

And we can’t imagine Activision finding a better home for him than with Call of Duty, as the war between the franchises heats up this Holiday season with Battlefield 4 due to launch in the Fall.

While DICE’s game is currently confirmed for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, Call of Duty: Ghosts will also be on next generation platforms like the PS4 and Xbox 720 – with a gameplay trailer at Microsoft’s May 21st reveal event.
