Bethesda VP Explains Why It Won’t Discuss Fallout Shelter For PS4

"If it isn't announced, we don't talk about it."

Bethesda Softworks’ Fallout Shelter has been out on Android and iOS since 2015 before finally making its way to Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2017. Of course, it’s still missing on the PS4 and many have wondered whether Bethesda will take the plunge anytime soon.

Pete Hines, VP of PR and marketing, has addressed the numerous tweets from a fan asking if Fallout Shelter would be releasing on the PS4. “In general, we never talk about whether we will or won’t do games/platform/etc. If it isn’t announced, we don’t talk about it, either way.”

Furthermore, Hines said that responding in such situations can lead to unintended consequences down the line. “Sorry, but that opens up a can of worms where everyone asks about every single possible project or game because they expect an answer.”
