The Elder Scrolls 6 may be a ways off for Bethesda Softworks but it has two unannounced games in the pipeline that will compare to Skyrim or Fallout 4 in terms of size.
This is according to Pete Hines, Bethesda VP of public relations, who noted to IGN that these were two complete games and not DLC. “[Howard] said for sure that he’s got two other projects. I’m just making sure folks understand that doesn’t mean he’s going to spit out a DLC and another DLC and we’re head faking.
“I need folks to understand that we’re talking about big games like a Skyrim and a Fallout 4 and a Fallout 3 and those don’t just happen.”
Earlier this week, Fallout 4 director Todd Howard noted that The Elder Scrolls 6 was coming but that it would be a while before it arrived and that the two new projects from Bethesda would be coming first.
Could that new “big” game be that post-Fallout 4 spin-off that rumours were parroting before the former’s release? One could hope but stay tuned in the coming months (or years) for more.
