You can count on Bioware to deliver the goods, but only to 50 people in this case. They have said that people who have received Mass Effect 2 instead of Black Ops 2 in their PC version will receive a copy of Mass Effect Trilogy if they send a picture of themselves holding the game to them.
Earlier we reported how people have been facing issues where upon inserting the disc 2 of the PC version of Black Ops 2 showed a Mass Effect 2 screen. Of course this issue blew up and I honestly don’t know how this happened considering both the games are made by different publishers.
Plant processing error? Sure. But what is Mass Effect 2 — a two year old game — still doing there? Things happen I guess, nothing worth suing over, am I right?
“If the universe thinks that you should be playing Mass Effect right now, who are we to argue? In fact, we want to help! The first fifty fans affected by this phenomenon to send us a picture holding their special disc 2 will receive a code for a FREE PC copy of Mass Effect Trilogy,” Bioware wrote on their blog.
“Remember, in order to qualify, YOU must be in the picture, and disc 2 of your Call of Duty: Black Ops II must be visible. Got it? Then send your photo to community@bioware.com and you could be playing your very own Mass Effect Trilogy in time for the weekend!”
You know what to do, right? That is, if you are affected by this mess up.
