Borderlands 2 will be heading to the PlayStation Vita in May for the United States according to the PlayStation Blog. It will be launching alongside the new PS Vita slim model. Check out the newest gameplay trailer above.
Developed by Iron Galaxy Studios, the PS Vita port will carry over all the content from the original home console release. That means you’ll have access to all six add-on packs along with cross-save compatibility with the PS3 version. Those looking to pick it up with the new PS Vita can avail of a bundle which contains a 1 GB, Wi-Fi model, Borderlands 2 and an 8 GB PS Vita memory card for for $199.99.
This comes off of rumours that a new home console Borderlands game will be out this year, titled “Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!”. It will apparently take place before the events of Borderlands 2 and feature Pandora’s moon Epsis along with four new playable characters.
