Gearbox may have teamed up with 2K Games for the publishing of Borderlands 3 like they have done with other games in the series, but they do plenty of publishing of their own, too. Gearbox Publishing, however, has lost a man in a high position.
Gearbox Publishing boss John Vignocchi recently confirmed on Twitter that he’s left his position at Gearbox and joined up what he described as his “favourite company in the gaming industry” for his “dream job”. In subsequent tweets, he announced just what the company is- Nintendo. At Nintendo, Vignocchi will be “driving developer and publisher relations for North America” and help them “continue the tradition of building memories through Nintendo that will last a lifetime”.
Meanwhile, on the Borderlands front, there’s plenty of news coming very soon. Borderlands 3 will be at E3, while recent rumours have suggested that a surprise announcement could also be made for Borderlands 2 DLC.
