Gearbox Software confirmed a while back that we’d be getting information about Borderlands 3’s raids and endgame activities at E3 2019, but as you may have guessed, that’s not all they’ll be talking about. Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford recently took to Twitter and also briefly detailed some other things we can expect to learn more about.
There will, of course, be new gameplay (maybe we’ll get to see one of its “absurd number of boss fights”), but Pitchford also confirms that we’ll be getting looks at both, a new Vault hunter and a new planet from the upcoming looter shooter. Borderlands 3 will also be playable to everyone at the 2K booth, and in addition to all that, Pitchford also hints at “a surprise or two”.
It’s unlikely that the game will receive any more new Vault Hunters after its release as DLC, by Gearbox’s own admission, so it’ll be good to see how the ones that the game will ship with will function. Borderlands 3 is out on September 13 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for all the coverage from E3.
Borderlands fans have a lot to look forward to at E3! We’ll be showing new gameplay, a new Vault Hunter and a New Planet! Attendees will also have a chance to play #Borderlands3 at the 2K booth! We may even have a surprise or two up our sleeves… EXCITED!
