Game Overview:
Elden Ring Nightreign is a co-op action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco.
It is a standalone spinoff of Elden Ring that’s set in a separate and parallel world and sees players working together to fight against monsters and bosses from the original title.
Here's what you should know about FromSoftware's upcoming co-op spinoff.
Their appearance is due to the Night Lord, per director Junya Ishizaki, who wouldn't specifically outline which foes made the jump.
Cross-generational cross-play support is confirmed, but PlayStation and Xbox players won't be able to play with each other, FromSoftware says.
The team opted for three-player co-op to "retain that sense of accomplishment" from battling bosses and "conquering a map" together.
Registrations begin on January 10th for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. The network test seemingly includes four playable characters.
"With Nightreign, we wanted to have a game that felt like a complete package out of the box on the day of purchase," says director Junya Ishizaki.
You must survive for three days and nights in the standalone multiplayer title, battling bosses and ultimately confronting the Nightlord.
Return to the Lands Between and tackle new threats with up to two other players on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.
