While the Call of Duty Championship will be taking place in the United States, a European preliminary of the same will be taking place on March 1st to 2nd. There will be 26 teams from various countries like France, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands and more, with each team participating in the preliminaries for the right to head to main championship held in Los Angeles on March 28th to 30th.
The preliminaries will be taking place in the Twickenham Stadium for a €15,000 prize, with the top eight teams going on to the Call of Duty Championship. This will mark the first competitive competition to take place on the Xbox One, with a prize pot of $1 million the line. Eight teams taking place in the pre-lims are from the UK so it shoudl be interesting to see who ultimately wins out.
