Cities: Skyline After Dark Gets A New Trailer For PAX

It's more than just a palette switch.

Night time is coming to the popular city simulation game Cities: Skylines. Called After Dark, the expansion will release on September 24 for $14.99. And to show off just what all the transitioning from day into night entailed for the most detailed and nuanced city simulation ever, here is a brand new trailer for the game that we got at PAX.

The change of time affects traffic (it gets less heavy, meaning nighttime is a good time to schedule construction and other maintenance activities), while commercial zones see more activity. Crime increases at night, meaning police patrols need to be increased, and public transport starts being used more. In addition to nighttime, a beach specialization, criminal trafficking, taxi cabs, cargo trains from harbors, international airports with metro station, bus terminal, and bike and bus lane options for roads are all being added with this expansion.

Check out the trailer below for yourself, and tell us what you think.
