Civilization 6 Looks Extremely Good In These New Screenshots

Any fears you had about the game's graphical quality should be assuaged now.

2K Games and Firaxis have released a bunch of new screenshots for Civilization 6, the sixth entry in the turn based grand strategy game that is due out later this year. The game looks extremely good in these new screenshots, with the new art design and direction the developers have chosen being done far better justice here than it was in the first batch of screens that we got for the game.

Indeed, a lot of people were not happy with the first few screens that we got for the game, claiming that the game looked like it had been developed for a mobile audience. These new screens should help allay those concerns, as the game looks impressive, clean, and articulated. It also has an undeniable sense of style- the new fog of war effect that obscures the map by making it look like an old time parchment map is undeniably great.

Civilization 6 is going to launch on October 23 on PCs running Windows, Mac, and Linux. You can check out all three new screens for the game below.
