Firaxis has released an 88 minute gameplay video featuring Brazil in the upcoming Civilization 6. With the Olympics coming up and Brazil being in the news (not necessarily for the best reasons either), it seems like the right time to showcase what players will be capable of in the upcoming 4X title. Watch designers Ed Beach and Anton Strenger in action below.
Civilization 6 has garnered its own share of controversy due to the game’s new art style, which many have dismissed as cartoony. Regardless, it will feature many of the same elements as its predecessor while placing emphasis on more ways to win.
“Unstacking” city improvements, improvements near certain terrain and making use of the new technology tree based on terrain help change up the experience. Players will also have to contend with AI mechanics with enemies that fuel random events and have their own goals.
Civilization 6 is out on October 21st for PC. What are your thoughts on its gameplay? Let us know in the comments below.
