In honour of so many games receiving updates for the Winter, Firaxis’s Civilization 6 is the latest to join the club. Its Winter 2016 update is now available on PC and it adds a new standard size Earth map along with other new features.
These include an easier way to access Scenarios from the main menu, balance changes and a new “alert” option for enemy units. Much like XCOM: Enemy Unknown’s “overwatch” feature, it will make units react only when an enemy has been spotted. The usual bug fixes, tweaks and whatnot are also included.
Players can also avail of two new DLC packs, each retailing for $4.99. They each contain a fresh playable Scenario with the first focusing on Poland its leader Jadwiga while the second is about the Vikings.
