Sega and Relic Entertainment announced that customers who pre-order the upcoming tactical RTS Company of Heroes 2 for PC from retailers will receive free bonus content.
Said content includes the ‘Theatre of War’ mini-campaign, providing another perspective on the war, along with the Winter Ambush and Voronezh Front skin packs for dressing up vehicles in multiplayer.
There are also two multiplayer commanders that can be added for each army, each bringing their own doctrines. The Germans get the Joint Operations Doctrine for artillery precision and the Offensive Spearhead Doctrine for heavy armour and brutal airstrikes.
The Soviets get the Anti-Infantry Tactics Doctrine. This means flamethrowers. On tanks. There are also rapid reinforcements via the Conscript Support Tactics Doctrine but they obviously pale in comparison to flamethrower tanks.
Greg Wilson, Producer of Company of Heroes 2, stated that, “We are pleased to be able to reward our most loyal fans for pre-ordering the game with this pack. These items will give them bonus single and multiplayer content to enjoy.”
Company of Heroes 2 is set to release for PC in June.
