Content Warning Gets its First Patch, Bringing Several Bug Fixes and New Items

Co-op horror comedy title Content Warning has gotten its first update, bringing along a number of new items and smaller fixes.

In light of the recent early access launch and success of co-op comedy horror title Content Warning, developer Landfall has released its first major patch for the game to help fix a number of issues. While it’s far from a major content update, the patch addresses smaller issues faced by players, including reducing hard drive usage for recordings, and the option to invert mouse settings. Several new items have also been added.

The studio is currently working on more patches and updates for Content Warning. Some of the issues the studio is working on right now include issues with voices, connection and hosting issues, and problems with camera footage not extracting or being visible.

Content Warning was released as shadow drop earlier this week on PC. Originally released for free for its first 24 hours, the game has since gotten a $7.99 price tag. The free period, however, helped the game in getting a large player base quite a bit. Shortly after release, the game had crossed 200,000 concurrent players on Steam.

Landfall had also revealed that Content Warning had been claimed for free by over 6.2 million players.

Content Warning Patch Notes:

  • Added new item “Reporter Mic”
  • Added new item “Sounds Player”
  • Added new item “Party popper”
  • Added a projector in the garden
  • Adjusted prices of emotes
  • Added inverted mouse setting
  • Fixed disk being able to be duplicated if you picked it up at the same time
  • Decreased hard drive usage for recordings
