Crackdown 2 developer submits game idea to Square Enix Collective

New project proposal is titled Game of Glens.

Square Enix Collective is, for those of you who don’t know (and I am assuming that is many of you), is a program that allows studios to pitch their ideas to the community; if enough community participants in the forum support the idea, it is moved on to the next stage, where it can be crowdfunded for further development.

Well, Crackdown 2 developer Ruffian Games has just submitted a new idea to this program: Game of Glens, which will see players make use of resource management, structure building and projectile weaponry gameplay mechanics.

It joins two other games (indie developed World War Machine and War Hunters), and is, like them, currently listed on Square Enix’s website for community voting; if any of these titles has clear support in 28 days, Square Enix will submit the game to Indiegogo on behalf of the developer.

Of course, this also probably means that if a Crackdown 3 does exist, Ruffian Games probably is not working on it.
