Crysis 2 was a very optimised game compared to the first one which required a grunt of a PC to run at maximum details, but it was also one of the most impressive games of its time when it came out and still is regarded as one of the games to beat visually on the PC.
The second game was made for the consoles and that’s one of the reasons why it was optimised on the PC as well. However, it wasn’t as large in scale as the first game, but that’s not a bad thing as Crysis 3 looks set to rectify that.
They have released the PC specifications the game on their website for which is scheduled to hit next year on a multitude of systems. The Wii U version is not confirmed yet but could happen, however, Crytek once said that they will only work on platforms where it makes sense.
