Dark Souls 3 on the PC has come with a number of problems since launch. It appears to some degree those problems have been staying one step ahead of the team that’s attempting to fix them. This is the case with the latest patch 1.04 for which has brought along some fixes and a new freezing issue.
Users in the Steam community are reporting the problems and say the game will freeze at different points. There are other users who have said they’ve noticed some frame rate drops. The good news is the team at From Software has been alerted about the problems.
The bad news is the team has not yet figured out just what is causing the freezing and framerate drops. It’s a safe bet From is going to be working hard considering how popular the game has been since launch. That said, there isn’t a date given as for when patch 1.05 is going to land.
