Does people believe its a reference to slavery?
It actually does make sense, but obviously you can’t expect the average person to put that thought into it because the average person is a !!ing dolt.
And really, what’s wrong with shock value? Everything has to be family friendly these days? I mean, I understand why it can be considered offensive, but I think that’s a good thing in some cases when it comes to art and entertainment.
Art, and entertainment, should involve pushing the boundaries, even if its offensive, it’s what makes some stuff really good.
I know this is a simple logo here, but it is still a form of art, and art is something that shouldn’t be limited or confined just to please those that are too sensitive for it.
does anyone remember the RE5 controversial?

Mortal Kombat is over the the top & fantasy so it doesn’t bother most ppl. But bodies hangin from trees is still a sensitive subject & a grim reminder of racism, especially where I live in the Southern United States. I was so quick 2 jump on the anti censorship thing I didn’t even realize this til Pilar mentioned it.

U make a good point, I didn’t think of that. I can c how this would b offensive 2 ppl after all. I think they made the right call, especially if it will only affect the boxart.

In reply to shastyxmcnasty. I have to agree with the censoring because of racism, and the hanging of black people on trees. If they just had a hanging zombie instead of a zombie hanging on trees. Then, I wouldn't have agreed with the censorship.

Not a fan of censorship @ all so this kinda blows. But @ the end of the day as long as the boxart is where it stops I guess I can deal w/ it. Its when they start messin w/ the game I get angry.
