Last night was quite the stream for Destiny’s upcoming Age of Triumph event. Bungie uncovered a whole bunch of new details about the loot that players will earn.
First it’s worth noting that Vault of Glass, Crota’s End, Challenge of Elders and King’s Fall will be updated to 390 Light, allowing players to earn 400 Light level items from them. Raid primaries will be available in two versions: non-elemental, normal weapons and Exotic Adept versions with elemental damage.
The Exotic versions look slightly different and thus far, Fatebringer and Vision of Confluence have been confirmed to be returning. It should be noted that not all primaries will have Adept/Exotic versions though King’s Fall and Wrath of the Machine have been confirmed as havin them.
Vex Mythoclast and Nechrochasm will return with the former working like before and the latter triggering Cursed Thrall explosions with any kill rather than precision kills. Auto Rifles will be seeing a boost while Handcannons will have a range reduction of 3 meters. Finally, Black Hammer will not be returning – it’s been superseded by the Exotic Black Spindle.
Stay tuned for more information on Age of Triumph which releases on March 28th for Destiny: Rise of Iron players.
