World of Warcraft isn’t the only game receiving a hefty patch – Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 3 will be receiving patch 2.3.0, adding a significant amount of new content to the game. Due to hit the Public Test Realms on PC, the patch will add a new zone with the Ruins of Sescheron and Kanai’s Cube.
The latter is an interesting device as it resembles the Horadric Cube from Diablo 2. Using it, players will be able to break down Legendary equipment and subsequently equip their unique perks as passive skills. Crafting is also receiving some changes to dynamically scale with your level and there will also be four new levels of Torment difficulty.
The highest difficulty will now be Torment X and Blizzard is including some new Legendary and set items to further encourage higher difficulty play. Adventure Mode is also receiving some changes with Horadric Caches and the removal of act-specific crafting materials.
