Back in July, Blizzard Entertainment announced that Overwatch 2 would be coming to Steam, and confirmed that it would be the first of several Blizzard titles to be making that jump. Now, another one of the developer’s major games has been handed a launch date for Valve’s digital platform.
During the most recent Diablo 4 Developer Update stream, Blizzard Entertainment announced that action RPG is headed to Steam- and imminently, at that. It’ll launch on the platform in under two weeks, on October 17. A Steam page for the game has also gone live.
Blizzard will be hoping that it enjoys better reception for Diablo 4 on Steam than its previous game did. Shortly after its launch on Steam, Overwatch 2 received overwhelmingly negative scores from players, becoming the worst-reviewed game of all time on the platform.
Diablo 4 is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via Battle.net).
